Product description
Ka-27 - Soviet ship multipurpose helicopter. NATO designation "Helix» («Helix» - spiral). The prototype helicopter "252" flew on August 8, 1973, Dec. 24 made its first flight in a circle.
The helicopter, developed by Kamov design bureau under the leadership of Nikolai Ilyich Kamov in the future - SV Mikheev (NI Kamov died in November 1973). For various reasons, testing and debugging of helicopter stretched for 9 years, and adopted a helicopter passed April 14, 1981 Series production began in 1977 at a helicopter factory in Kumertau.
On the basis of the basic multi-purpose machine "252" has developed two basic modifications to the Navy - antisubmarine helicopter Ka-27 (article 500) and search and rescue Ka-27PS (article 501).
Ka-27 (NATO classification - "Helix-A") is designed to detect, track and destroy submarines, following to a depth of 500 meters at speeds up to 75 km / h in the search area, remote from the vehicle-based and 200 km with excitement Sea to 5 points during the day and night in simple and adverse weather conditions. The helicopter may implement tactical missions for both single and as a group and in cooperation with the ships in all geographical latitudes.
The training manual sets out the main issues of practical aerodynamics, design and operation of the airframe, power plant and equipment products.
The manual is intended for pilots and technical staff, student and operated helicopter Ka-27.
