Course project on the subject: "Transients in electric power systems"
Task for course work.
Perform calculations for starting and self-starting motor and reduce stress on the tire shop industrial enterprise.
Setting objectives: The workshop industrial plant is supplied with energy from the electric power system in accordance with the circuit diagram (Fig. 1) the two lines L1 and L2 through two transformers T1 and T2. From each section of the tire must be powered motors centrifugal pumps E1, E2, E3, E5, E6 and E4 synchronous motor turbocharger.
It is envisaged that the motor E2 and E5 have the reactor start-up. Electric E3, E4 are attached to the tires section through one branch of the dual reactor; through the other consumers are supplied H1 and H2.
Basic electrical parameters are shown in Table 1. Graphs calculated dependences are shown in Figure 2. The graphs indicated: Ies, mes, MK - respectively current, torque and drag torque of the synchronous motor E4; Iea, mea, MN - respectively the current, torque and mo-ment of resistance induction motors E1, E2, E3, E5, E6. You open sun-switch and turned on by ATS.
Picture 1.

1. Check the start-up of asynchronous motor E1 on the condition that the residual stress on the tires section must be at least 85% of the nominal value and the starting torque of the motor must be greater than the moment of resistance by 10%. Calculate and plot the acceleration of the motor.
2. Determine the need to install the reactor R1 and the resistance to motor starting A2 the following conditions:
a) residual stress on the tires should be less than 85% of the rated value;
b) residual voltage at the motor terminals must be sufficient to ensure start-up.
3. Check the selection dual reactor PC1 Commissioning induction motor E3.
In the calculations of claim. 1, 2 and 3 assume that the remaining electric load and are up and running normally.
4. The possibility of group self-section 1 of the motors when disconnecting it from the transformer T1 and the inclusion of section switch sun through tAVR = 1,5 from the unit ATS.
This should be considered:
a) the synchronous motor is a source of EMF with parameters
EI = 1.05 = const., HId = 15%;
b) the load of the second branch of the reactor PC1 at E3 self-starting motor is automatically switched off.
5. assess the possibility of loss of synchronism and the acquisition of the synchronous motor E4 at break time food tAVR = 1.5 s. Loss of synchronism to evaluate the angular characteristics of the normal mode of the engine, ie. E. Consider that the effect of forcing the magnetic field to move in!-Telya compensates for voltage drop at its terminals when the power is restored from a backup source (transformer T1). Assume that the load of the second branch of the reactor at the break PC2 power is automatically turned off.
6. Determine the same as the step 4, but for section 2. Load the second branch of the reactor at PC2 self-synchronous motor is also automatically turned off.
- Rated voltage on the secondary side of the transformer 6,3 kV;
- Rated voltage of the motors, the load of twin reactors and 6 kV;
- Nominal power factor and efficiency for asynchronous motors are cosφea = 0.9; ηea = 0.96; Synchronous equal cosφes = 0.9;
ηes = 0.97;
