"Caesar in Gaul" - is an independent campaign for Total War: ROME II, dedicated to aggressive war against Julius Caesar´s Gallic tribes. The campaign is based on the work of Caesar´s "Notes on the Gallic War» (Commentarii de bello Gallico). Players can choose between four factions involved in the conflict: Arverni (galls), Suevi (Germanic), nerves (Belgi) and Rome.

Campaign "Caesar in Gaul" covers less time (58 -... 51 BCE), and a smaller part of the territory than she ROME II, but it presents more detail Gaul and southern coast of Britain.

Compared with a map of Gaul in the ROME II, in "Caesar in Gaul" campaign more and more regions and provinces, larger fractions (fiction and non-fiction), it also contains a number of famous generals and historic public figures, which the player will employ or with whom he will fight, depending on the selected fraction.
