The aim of the thesis is the analysis and optimization of the stimulation of the personnel in modern conditions on an example of a trading network. To achieve this goal the following tasks:
• Study of the theoretical foundations of modern trends and stimulation of labor and its role in improving the efficiency of the enterprise.
• Analysis of the stimulation of the personnel.
• Development of measures to improve incentives for staff.
The object of the work, the Group of Companies "SAMOKHVAL" includes:
• supermarkets and hypermarkets;
• a network of family shopping and entertainment centers (SEC) "Planet SAMOKHVAL";
• Tagansky Meat Processing Plant;
• Austrian brewery "Vunderbir";
• centralized German bakery;
• construction and trucking firms.

For the analysis of the economic performance of the company it was used statements of "SAMOKHVAL" for 2006-2007.
