INTRODUCTION

In today´s world of information technology and knowledge-based economy is difficult to imagine our life without the Internet and websites. Almost every company, ranging from small private companies and ending with the international giants of the market, has a promotional website. In addition, the sites have now become not only a way to promote a product, but also, often an independent business area. E-commerce, appeared in the eighties, before the first browser was invented.
Of course, over the years the situation in the market has changed. On the one hand, the market began to focus on the user, each firm tries to capture a niche in the market and attract the attention of the buyer. On the other - in Russian e-commerce market is still quite new, while actively growing, almost no barriers to entry, so the moment is the most suitable for the creation and promotion of e-commerce project. This leads to the relevance of the chosen theme, which is part of the project.
The object of study chosen Internet marketing tools, and a subject - a strategy promoting the selected Web site.
In a study of the following problem was identified themes: despite the fact that there are a lot of strategies to promote websites, they can not be used for a specific project, since all are very individual strategy. In the reporting Web site is no promotion strategy, and the reasons for this is that the selection is made of methods of promotion and optimization for the new product and selected specific performance criteria of the site.
Therefore, the aim is to develop recommendations on the use of search engine optimization (SEO), as a means of product promotion on the Internet on the example of an online store http://www.s-textile.ru/.
Based on the selected target, the following tasks have been put forward:
1. An analysis of the subject area, revealing the features of the subject area, the construction of business processes web project, including methods of promotion.

3. Develop a set of recommendations on the use of search engine optimization (SEO).
