Hero Lost Planet 3 - pilot Jim Peyton, who took risky but profitable business proposition of "Neo Venus Construction" (NEVEK). Taking off from the Earth to the planet E.D.N. III, as the company prepares for colonization, Jim joins fellow pioneers at the base of Koronis. There he begins to study the territory and collecting samples of thermal energy, part of the energy supply of the planet.

Since the thermal energy stocks NEVEK coming to an end, the fate Coronis mission depends on what will be possible to extract energy from the natural source found.
