Hammerwatch - this game genre indie-RPG-slasher, created in the style of hack-and-slash (Ruby and Cut), inspired by the game Gauntlet. The original game series Gauntlet were filled with mindless hack-and-slash massacre (and it was great), but Hammerwatch offers more thoroughly arrayed levels, boss fights that require thinking, puzzles with the environment, traveling through the vast castle, you have to fight with various monsters and collect items. You can play both against each other and in the co-op mode, where a handful of players trying to survive in the castle.

In the game players will have to fight the hordes of various enemies doing a very important mission - to climb up the Tower Hammerwatch and get a reward. Graphics, executed in style pixel art looks lovely and evokes nostalgic feelings. It seems to be a lot of fun to break through a skeletal archers, avoiding deadly traps, and exploring the long corridors in search of additional gold.
The game has 12 levels, divided into 4 Act 4 types of characters: knight, archer, wizard in red robes and magician in purple. The game also has a Survival mode, in the style of "waves of enemy attackers´ choice ´hardcore´ difficulty level. And most importantly - to the game can be played in four of the cooperative mode.
