In 2140, after numerous wars and several environmental disasters, only two remained mighty powers: UCS, covering the Americas, Western Europe and North Africa; and ED, covering the expanse of Eastern Europe and Asia. Damage from long wars caused the evacuation of the population in the newly built underground cities.
Australia and most of Africa were devastated during the long war that lasted for decades. On these continents developed a highly toxic biological and chemical weapons, polluting the ground so hard that the man could not exist there. Machines and robots have replaced humans. Due to the fact that the continent has become uninhabitable, they were wiped from every map of the world. Most of the world´s population forgot that ever existed the land.
Natural resources became scarce and must be extracted from the ground. There has been a few small conflicts between the UCS and the ED, the last of which was very tough and has turned into a war - the last world war. Only one side can win.
