Inspired by the story of the cult classic film "War Games» (Wargames) 1983 game DEFCON solemnly carries tension and paranoia of the Cold War smack, playing on the attractive aspects of psychological gameplay that develops within the strategic nuclear war.

You play a General hidden deep in an underground bunker. Your mission - to successfully exterminate your enemy´s civilian population while maintaining your own. Points are awarded or subtracted depending on the efficiency and soundness of your nuclear retaliation and the number of deaths of your people. To win, you must destroy the enemy population and simultaneously prevent the enemy to retaliate against you. This is an extremely difficult task of attacking the enemy, you open the location of your missile silos, submarines and bombers at a time when they use nuclear weapons, making you extremely vulnerable and open to devastating counterattack.

Quickly and desperately formed tactical alliances that could fall apart at any moment, turned cowardly and deadly betrayal. Everyone looks at each other in a state of nervous anxiety and paranoia. In all-out nuclear Armageddon, everybody dies, everybody will lose, and you only need to make sure you lose the last one!
