"C ++ for Beginners" contains a detailed introduction to the international standard for C ++. We have included in the title of the book of the word "starter" because the school has consistently adhered to the approach to the description of the C ++ language; but the name does not imply simplified or facilitated presentation. Such aspects of programming, as exception handling, container types, object-oriented approach, and the like, presented in the book in the context of specific tasks. Terms of language, such as the resolution of overloaded functions or conversions in object-oriented programming are discussed in such detail that in an introductory course it may seem inappropriate. But we are confident that such coverage is necessary for practical use of the language. The material of the book is not necessary to try to learn "in a single pass," we assume that the reader will periodically return to previously read the section. The reader may not know the C language, although some familiarity with some modern structural programming language would be helpful. We wrote the book that would become the first textbook on C ++, but not the first textbook on programming!
